Sephora is a higher end make-up line that has every make-up product. I have tried many of their products, including their eyeliner pencils which I am not really a fan of, and their many lipsticks that come in gorgeous colors! The nice thing about Sephora is you can try things on before you purchase, so I definitely know what I’m buying. I’ve been trying to find a really good lip stain that lasts, because I LOVE wearing lipstick! I feel naked without it, and it’s the one thing I can’t go without wearing (other than blush). Anyways, lip stains are pretty much what they say – they stain your lips and it’s very hard to wipe off. Lip stains are great if you wear and love lipstick. I think it’s a waste of money to buy lipstick that constantly comes off, having to reapply it is a real pain. At least with a lip stain, I feel confident that it will stay on all day. There are many make-up brands that carry lip stains, but I have not been impressed with any other than Sephora at this point.
Sephora Cream Lip Stain goes on smooth and has more of a matte finish, which I love. I’m not a fan of lipgloss, it’s just too much on my lips. The matte finish is perfect for me because my lips are already big so I don’t want them to look ginormous. Anyways, this line has quite a few colors and they are pretty bold. I love Cherry Blossom, but it’s definitely too bright for me. I highly suggest trying these before buying them because they look different with various skin tones. I was going to purchase these online, including Pink Souffle, but after trying it on realized it doesn’t suit me at all. The price for each lip stain is $14, and the one downfall for this product is that the tubes are small. Maybe the fact that they last so long makes up for it?
This is one of the three lip stains that I loved. Its’ a light pink with a bit of shimmer, for a subtle beautiful look. I would definitely suggest for light to medium skin tones. I would definitely suggest wearing this color with bold eyeliner & mascara, it would look perfect with the lips!
This is my favorite color so far, it’s GORGEOUS! I’m usually not one to try bold colors, but this shade is definitely just enough to stand out. I would suggest wearing this with bold eyes – eyeliner & mascara, and simple make-up.
Pink Souffle is my second favorite lip stain of the Sephora line and looks great with my skin tone. I highly suggest for those who have light to medium skin tones, and pairing with simple eye make-up, let this lip stain stand out!
