L’oreal Clay Face Mask Reviews

claymasks

I am going to review the clay mask collections from L’Oreal, which I have been very impressed by. I have been alternating between each of these masks x3 a week for the past month and wanted to write a fair review. While alternating between these 3 masks, my pores have become less noticeable, with a smoother skin texture.

L’Oreal Detox & Brighten Clay Mask: $9.79 for 1.7 oz.

“Indulgent. Transformative. Perfectly Clean. L’Oréal Paris Skin Experts have created a super-charged pure clay mask with the power of Charcoal to detoxify and illuminate your skin in just 10 minutes. Our indulgent and powerful formula provides a luxurious experience while potent pure clays and charcoal act like a magnet to draw-out and capture deep impurities (such as dirt, oil, and pollution). This creamy, non-drying formula leaves skin feeling clean, velvety, and rebalanced. Detox and Brighten Pure-Clay Mask addresses your dull, tired skin to reveal a purified, even, and radiant complexion. Immediately, skin looks brighter with a healthy glow. Dirt, dust and pollution are perfectly removed from skin. Skin is perfectly clean and clear. Use After Use, Skin is clean as if detoxified. Skin feels as though it can breathe better. Skin is healthy looking and more beautiful.”

Pros:

  • leaves clean feeling skin, cleans pores well
  • easy to apply
  • dries fast
  • acts quickly, 10 to 15 mins
  • brightening
  • thick consistency

Cons:

  • strong smell
  • burns slightly
  • can be messy, which is expected of clay masks

What an amazing mask this is, and I think I’ve found a dupe for the Glam Glow Super Mud Mask! It truly reminds me of Glam Glow’s Super Mud Mask, which is $69 for the same amount of product. After leaving this skin on for 15 minutes x2 a week for the past month, my skin has made a transformation. This mask works wonders and leaves the skin feeling super clean and detoxified. It also has a strong brightening effect after just one use. It’s easy to apply and dries quickly, which I love. The only bad part about this mask is that it does have a strong smell which some may not be able to handle. It also burned my skin slightly when I first put it on, but did not irritate it at all.

L’Oreal Exfoliate & Refine Clay Mask: $9.79 for 1.7 oz.

“Indulgent. Transformative. Perfectly Clean. L’Oréal Paris Skin Experts have created a super-charged pure clay mask enhanced with Red Algae Extract to exfoliate and refine your skin in just 10 minutes. Our unique and efficacious formula provides a multi-sensorial, fragrant experience while potent pure clays and volcanic rock exfoliate dead skin cells and smooth surface imperfections. Exfoliate & Refines Pores Pure-Clay Mask addresses rough and clogged skin to reveal a polished, pore-minimized and smooth complexion. Immediately skin texture appears refined and smooth. Pores are visibly minimized. Dead cells, dirt and oil are removed from skin. Use after imperfections are less visible. Skin feels as though it can breathe better. Skin is healthy looking with a beautiful glow.”

Pros:

  • is gentle on the skin
  • fast acting, leave on for 10 minutes
  • leaves radiant skin
  • makes my skin soft and smooth

Cons:

  • strong smell
  • can be messy

L’Oreal Purify & Mattify Pure-Clay Mask: $9.79 for 1.7 oz.

“Indulgent. Transformative. Perfectly Clean. L’Oréal Paris Skin Experts have created a super-charged pure clay mask with the power of Eucalyptus to purify and mattify your skin in just 10 minutes. Our fresh, indulgent formula provides a soothing and refreshing spa-like experience, while powerful pure clays penetrate deep into pores to remove impurities. Purify & Mattify Pure-Clay Mask addresses your shiny and oily skin to reveal clarified, mattified, and refreshed complexion. Immediately skin appears purified and healthier. Skin looks less shiny and excess oil is reduced. Pores seem tightened and less visible, without over-drying. Use After Use. Skin looks re-energized and refreshed. Skin complexion appears fresher. Skin is visibly healthier and more beautiful.”

Pros:

  • smells good
  • gentle on the skin
  • helps oiliness

Cons:

  • can be messy
  • can dry out skin if used in dry areas
