September Beauty Haul + First Impressions | Tarte, Milani, etc.

I was so excited for this month to start not only because Summer is ending (Fall is my favorite season), but because Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty took place most of the month. This is one of my favorite sales that Ulta does because each day there are 2-3 items high-end items that are 40%-50% off.

There are also a lot of other great sales going on the entire month, such as the new Tarte Mattifying Primer on sale for $22 (usually $32) and one of my new favorite foundations is on sale – TARTE Double Duty Beauty Empowered Hybrid Gel Foundation for $27 (usually $39). Peter Thomas Roth products are 30% off right now, and Cover FX Sticks are 40% off. There are many more deals on their website & in stores.

Anyway, on to my haul from Ulta & Sephora, along with the great deals I took advantage of.

TARTE Double Duty Beauty Empowered Hybrid Gel Foundation – sale $27 for 1.0 oz.

This is one of my new favorite high-end foundations. It’s great for dry to combination skin, creamy consistency, and medium to full coverage.

ULTA Color Correcting Foundation & Primer Stick – sale $6 for 0.25 oz.

I haven’t tried this yet.

TARTE Poreless Mattifying Primer – sale $22 for 1.0 oz.

I’ve been enjoying this on hot days or when my skin is more oily, I’ve noticed a difference in my pores after applying.

LAURA GELLER Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator Palette – sale $19 for 3 highlighters

I love the colors in this highlighter palette, great for medium to tan skin tones.

TARTE Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara – sale $10 for 0.24 oz.

I haven’t used this yet, but has great reviews.

Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Super Curling & Lifting Mascara – sale $12 for 0.3 oz.
I haven’t used this yet but it’s a favorite of Jeffree Star so I’m excited!

IT COSMETICS No-Tug Waterproof Gel Eyeliner – sale $11 for 0.017 oz.

I haven’t used this yet, but has great reviews.

BAREMINERALS Gen Nude Matte Liquid Lipcolor in Slay and Swag – sale $13 for 0.13 oz.

I love this liquid lipstick formula, I always wait until these go on sale to buy them. All of the colors are great, but Slay and Swag are my favs, not super long lasting, but feels nice when on. Look out for a post of BAREMINERALS Lipcolor swatches coming soon!

MAC Lipstick Matte in Velvet Teddy – sale $8.75 0.1 oz.

What a pretty, every day color.. and the formula is moisturizing and long lasting.

Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum – sale $22 for 1.0 oz.
I haven’t tried this yet, but glad it was 50% off because I’ve been looking for a vitamin C serum.

Tarte Limited-Edition Blush Bazaar Amazonian Clay Blush Palette – $44 for 8 blushes and 2 highlighters

I am the most excited about this product because I love the Amazonian Clay collection by Tarte. These are some of my favorite blush formulas and they’re so long lasting. The blushes in this palette are nearly the same size as one blush on it’s own which is around $30, so it is worth the price to buy this!

SEPHORA COLLECTION Bronzer Powder – $11 on sale

Milani MAKE IT LAST Makeup Setting Spray – $10 for 2.03 oz

I really didn’t like this setting spray, so I’ll be returning.

Pixi By Petra Hydrating Milky Mist – $15 for 2.7 fl oz

This was liked by Tati from Youtube, and I trust her reviews! I’ve been loving mists lately and really wanted to try this. So far, I’ve used this on days when my skin is more dry, and it does hydrate my skin. I’ve used it multiple times and love it.

Milani 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer Sand $8 for 1.0 oz

I’ve been wanting to try this foundation for the longest time, and I regret not buying it sooner! It works just like a high-end foundation, but better. Actually, it is nearly my favorite foundation!

I like HSN because of their flexible payment options! It’s really not good for my shopping addiction, but oh well!

Benefit Dew the Hoola Liquid Bronzer for Face – $28 for 1.0 oz.

I was so excited to try this because the reviews were great and it supposedly gives a bronzed glow to your skin. I’ve paired it with moisturizer and love it.

PUR Cosmetics Afterglow Illuminating Powder – $25

I haven’t tried this yet, but it’s supposed to hide imperfections while illuminating with vitamin A and Shea butter.

Too Faced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder – $32 for .56 oz.

I needed a powder that is good for dry skin so I’m excited to try this. I wanted to try their new Peaches N’ Cream setting powder, but it is magnifying, so I will stay away from that one. I will review this once I have used it enough.

Smashbox Studio Skin 24 Hour Waterproof Concealer – Medium – $25 for .08 oz.

I will always love my Tarte Shape Tape concealer more than any other, but I wanted to try this because I’ve heard good things. It’s full coverage, isn’t heavy, and stays all day.

Too Faced Hangover 3-in-1 Primer & Setting Spray – $32 for 4 0z.

I have yet to try this but really wanted to see how it is considering I love the Hangover Primer that comes in a tube.

That is all for now, check back soon to see my favorite of NYX products and BareMinerals Liquid Lipstick swatches & review!
