November 2017 Ipsy Bag

How did everyone like their Ipsy bag this month? I know some people still haven’t received theirs, but I’m pretty happy with mine. I’ve been considering canceling this subscription and going for something else such as Allure or BoxyCharm, but we will see. I do like my products this month so I’ll give it another month.

The bag is cute – I got the yellow one and it’s just OK. I do like both colors so I wasn’t hoping to get one or the other. It’s about the same size as previous bags.

TOO FACED Hangover 3-in-1 Replenishing Primer and Setting Spray

This is a smaller sample – 0.06 oz, but I’m excited to try it. I have the hangover primer and I really love it; it’s one of my favorite high end primers. I doubt I’ll use this spray as a primer, but more so to set my makeup.

GLAMOUR DOLLS Glamour Dolls x Lisa Frank Bitten & Bronzed Matte Bronzer

I use to love Lisa Frank as a kid and would always buy their school supplies. I find it cute they have been doing different collabs with Ipsy; in the past I received their blush brush and it was just OK. I do like this color for bronzer as it’s suitable to bronze up the face.

‘TINI BEAUTY Barfly Highlighter in Candlelit

I do not own anything else by this brand and haven’t tried anything in the past. I love trying new brands that aren’t popular, so I was excited to get products from brands I love, as well as brands I’ve never tried, like this one. I’m not a fan of cream/stick highlighters, but this one is easy to blend. I do wish it was gold as I’m not a fan of pink highlight, but this is subtle enough to use on medium skin tones.

EM COSMETICS Infinite Lip Cloud in Rose Nude

I do love this color but the product creases on my lips, which is unfortunate. I haven’t tried it with a chapstick underneath yet.

TARTE Deluxe Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Feisty, Quirky, or Idol

This is my favorite blush formula, so I’m happy they included a deluxe sample of it! I got it in the color idol, which I didn’t already have. This blush is pigmented and lasts all day, it also takes forever to use a full blush, so if you got this in your bag, I’m sure it will last a long time!

GLOBAL BEAUTY CARE Charcoal Wash Off Mask

I also redeemed 500 Ipsy points as they were going to expire! I totally didn’t realize I had many points, so I’m glad I looked. There were other options of products to purchase with points, such as a sample Lancome Mascara and Blemish Serum by Evologie. I haven’t tried this mask yet, but I do enjoy charcoal masks so I’m hoping I won’t be disappointed.

That’s all for now! Overall, I am pleased with the bag and may or may not renew for next month. I’m really interested in getting the Allure box that Jaclyn Hill collaborated with and included some AWESOME products for just $10, including a deluxe sample of Becca’s Champagne Pop. I’m thinking about making a post of different subscription boxes or going on a hunt for the best options. Does anyone have any suggestions?
